This innovative online asynchronous course spans six months and provides comprehensive training consisting of over 300 hours of instruction. INFORMATION ABOUT THE COURSE:

        • THE CLASS WILL BE FILLED ON A FIRST QUALIFIED, FIRST ENROLLED BASIS. THE FIRST 10 STUDENTS TO COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.  

        • ALL FOLLOWING QUALIFIED STUDENTS WILL BE ADDED ONCE A SEAT BECOMES AVAILABLE.

        • ENROLLMENT QUALIFICATIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

          • Copy of High School Diploma or Equivalency

          • Reading & Math Assessment with minimum Reading score.

          • Payment of $500 Course Fee*

        • ONCE ENROLLED, STUDENTS MUST ATTEND AN ORIENTATION

        • THE CLASS IS ASYNCHRONOUS (SELF PACED, ONLINE) AND MUST BE COMPLETED BY JANUARY 5TH (6 MONTHS).

        • STUDENTS MUST HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER AND INTERNET.

Prerequisite: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

This comprehensive, self-paced online program will prepare you to work as a pharmacy technician in retail or other pharmacy settings. Through an asynchronous online curriculum, you will learn dosage calculations, drug classifications, top 200 drugs, IV flow rates, sterile compounding, dose conversions, aseptic technique, the handling of sterile products, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), dispensing of prescriptions, inventory control, and billing and reimbursement.

Once you’ve earned our certificate of completion, this certificate qualifies you to take the national exams, which are separate from our program, and an additional cost. Upon successful completion of this program, students will be eligible to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam.
